Share your skills. Make a difference.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering.

Volunteering expands your skills and experience and is a way to stay active and engaged with the community. It’s also a way for you to give back and make a difference with people who need a hand.

Volunteer as an Advocate

Serving as an HNA advocate offers the opportunity to see firsthand the difference individualized advocacy and direct crisis resolution can make in the lives of people facing crises they have been unable to resolve on their own. Advocates use their skills, experience, and HNA training to help clients overcome barriers, develop practical solutions, and move toward resolution. The work can be both challenging and deeply rewarding.

Volunteer for Operations

Serving as an HNA operations volunteer is critical to sustaining the organization. Operations volunteers support the internal functions and infrastructure that make HNA’s direct crisis resolution services possible.

Board Member Information

HNA is a board-managed nonprofit organization. The Board provides governance and strategic oversight, helps ensure sound financial stewardship, and supports the organization’s long-term sustainability and growth.

Volunteer Your Professional Skills

HNA also welcomes volunteers who can contribute professional expertise to help strengthen the organization and expand its capacity to serve. We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in fundraising and development, grant writing, nonprofit operations, and other areas of organizational support.

If you are interested in contributing your skills and experience to HNA, we would welcome the opportunity to hear from you.

Please send a brief cover letter describing your interests and qualifications, along with your résumé, to info@helpnowadvocacy.org.
