Priscilla Atkin

Vice President of the Board of Directors

Priscilla Atkin brings a career of social service experience of over thirty five years to the Help Now board. She is currently employed at Providence Hospital in Medford where she has been a discharge planner for the last seven years. Before that, she worked for the State of Oregon as an Adult Protective Service caseworker for twenty seven years. She has also served as Court Visitor for adult guardianship and conservatorships for the last fifteen years. 

Her community service work includes volunteering with the NAACP, Women's Crisis Support team, Youth Service Commission, Community Health Center Board, Alzheimer Association Board, Jackson County Mental Health Advisory Board Chair, Jackson County Non-Profit Legal Services Board for Public Guardianships. Priscilla has also advised several local attorneys on issues pertaining to seniors and persons with disabilities. She is a past Vice President of the Oregon Public Employees Union.

Priscilla attended Chicago Teachers College and California State Fullerton. Priscilla and her husband Joe live in Phoenix.
